How do I register and account?

On the Homepage you will have the option to "Buy Electricity Now" or "Create and Account".

Selecting the option to create an account will allow for Facebook Login or to register a new account. Choose the options that is best suited for you and fill out the registration document.

You can use your login details to log in to your account at any time to purchase electricity.

How do I add a meter?

When you have registered an account you will be prompted to register a meter and credit card. If you have skipped this step and do not see it when you log in again do not worry!

Simply click on the "Meters" Tab on the left of the screen then the button "Add meter" on the top right to register a new prepaid electricity meter to your profile.

Please note that this is for ZESA registered Zimbabwe Prepaid Electricity Meters only. If you have a South African Prepaid Electricity Meter please register on www.powertime.co.za

How do I add a credit card?

Simply click on the "Card Wallet" Tab on the left of the screen then the button "Add card" on the top right to register a new credit card to your profile.

Please note that this is for Visa and Mastercard registered Credit Cards only. Some Cheque/Debit cards might work but this is dependent on your bank.

What payment methods do I have?

You can pay with Credit Card or InstantEFT. Other payment methods might be introduced in time so keep an eye out for any changes.

What is 3D Secure?

The first transaction processed on a newly loaded card will be processed as 3D Secure. Please note that you will need to have your phone present with you in order to view the OTP (One Time Pin) which will be sent to you mobile phone in order to complete the process. Once this is complete you will not have to do this process again until you add a new credit card.

I enter the purchase amount in Dollars but I am shown a transaction amount in Rands?

The Prepaid Electricity Tokens for Zimbabwe are sold in Dollars however we process all transactions in Rands.

The exchange rate is set daily and any transactional fees are included in this amount. You will simply enter the amount in Dollars that you wish to purchase and we will do the rest, indicating clearly the amount of Rands that you will be charged for.

How do I manage my electricity meters? What if I want more than 1 meter on my profile?

When logged in there will be the tab on the left called "Meters". Here you can access all the meters on your profile as well as have the option to delete old meters or add new ones!
